Secure your desktop and SSO applications with the SAASPASS Mac Computer Connector
When you install the SAASPASS Computer Connector, you secure access to your desktop and all SSO desktop applications with two-factor security. Use Scan Barcode, Proximity or one-time passwords to unlock access in one simple step.
The steps for installing SAASPASS Mac Computer Connector are shown below:
Step 1
Download the SAASPASS Computer Connector from the Download Page. An installer will appear. Press ‘Continue’.
Step 2
Accept the Terms of Use, press ‘Continue’.
Step 3
Destination Select: Choose to install the Computer Connector for all users of this computer, choose ‘Continue’.
Step 4
Connector will take up roughly 8 MB of space (quite small). If you would like to save this in a specific location do so now, then choose ‘Install’.
Step 5
Submit your Mac password, then choose ‘Install Software’.
Step 6
Wait while the package installs and configures itself.
Step 7
Once the Computer Connector is installed, choose ‘Close’.
Step 8
Now you should see a small SAASPASS orca icon in your upper right toolbar, click and choose ‘Login’.
Step 9
To setup, enter your SAASPASS ID and a One-Time Password from the main menu of your mobile app. choose ‘LOGIN’.
Step 10
A popup should appear, that ‘You have been logged in’.
Step 11
Now from the SAASPASS icon, choose ‘MAC Login’.
Step 12
Here please enter your Apple Mac computer's password. If you make any changes to your computer's password, you will need to update the change with the mobile SAASPASS app.
Step 13
Now from your mobile app, go to the gear icon and choose ‘Synchronize’ under SETTINGS.
Step 14
Press SYNCHRONIZE.
Step 15
Your computer should now appear under COMPUTER LOGIN in the main menu. Click on the SETUP button.
Step 16
Click on your computer, submit your computer's password and SAVE it.
Step 17
You are all set, click ‘FINISH’
