The current user experience for humans is best visualized by The Security Inferno. Security up to now was not built with human beings in mind. We all disliked the experience. Passwords policies made the experience awful. Then to top it off we added more complexity and tried to outdo an already nightmarish situation by adding clunky legacy-minded two-factor authentication.

This awful experience could only be tolerated by robots.
