What is the (EBA) European Banking Authority?

The European Banking Authority (EBA) was established by the European Parliament to conduct stress tests, increase transparency and identify structural weakness within the financial system of the European Union.

The EBA took over responsibilities from the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) in 2011. The EBA corrects national regulators that fail to self-regulate and mitigates competitive advantages between member countries with disparate regulatory constraints.

SAASPASS cloud-based authentication complies with all EBA guidelines and regulations. The SAASPASS two-factor solution was built to assist firms with strong, seamless regulatory compliance.
