Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is easy to integrate with Coinbase by using the SAASPASS Authenticator(works with google services like gmail and dropbox etc.) and it's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) capabilities. The SAASPASS Authenticator supports the time-based one-time password (TOTP) standards. Download the SAASPASS app and setup the SAASPASS Authenticator.

Log into Coinbase. In the upper right hand corner, click the dropdown and choose ‘Account Settings’. To initiate an authenticator with Coinbase, you must first verify a phone number.
Scroll down to ‘Phone Numbers’. If you do not have a verified number, ‘+ Verify A Phone’. If you have a verifyed phone on record, click Google Authenticator and skip the next slide. You will not be able to view this ‘Google Authenticator’ link until you have verified a phone.
Choose SMS code or phone call to receive a verification code. When you receive the code enter it below.
After you have verified a phone, the ‘Google Authenticator’ link will appear below. Click that link, instead of Google Authenticator, you will use SAASPASS.
Open your SAASPASS app, scroll down to AUTHENTICATOR, choose ‘+’, and SCAN BARCODE. Hold your mobile app to the barcode on your computer screen and then enter the code produced by SAASPASS.
