Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is easy to integrate with BTC-e by using the SAASPASS Authenticator(works with google services like gmail and dropbox etc.) and it's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) capabilities. The SAASPASS Authenticator supports the time-based one-time password (TOTP) standards. Download the SAASPASS app and setup the SAASPASS Authenticator.

The steps for pairing SAASPASS Authenticator with BTC-e are shown below:

Step 1

Log into BTC-e. In the upper right hand corner, click ‘Profile’, on the left panel choose ‘Security’. Below ‘Two-Factor Authentication’, click ‘Create a key’.

Open your SAASPASS app, scroll down to AUTHENTICATOR, choose ‘+’, and SCAN BARCODE. Hold your mobile app to the barcode on your computer screen and then enter the code produced by SAASPASS. Click to confirm.

Step 3

Choose when you would like to use this key: at each login, when you withdraw or when you change security settings. Save and you’re all set! Enjoy being more secure.
